Meet Katie Staniforth, Senior Event Director at Cricket Australia

Katie’s experience spans, Super Rugby, the London 2012 Olympics, NRL, the ICC T20 World Cup and Cricket Australia.

In her role at CA she works with the internal teams, the State & Territory associations, and the venues to put on International Test, ODI and T20 Cricket in Australia. In other words, she’s part of the glue that pulls the match together.

This episode is a recording of the Masterclass Katie gave exclusive to the SportsGrad Community. If you want a taste for the events and content only available to Members, this is it.

This particular Masterclass is as comprehensive as they get, inside you’ll learn: - How Cricket Australia plan for an International Cricket Event

- The organisational structure of an Event Operations Team

- Project plans, frameworks and ways of working

- What happens in planning meetings with Ticketing, Sponsors, Hospitality etc.

In the Community Masterclasses, we go deeper with the guests and find out more about how they do their job, what exactly is involved, plus you get to ask any of your burning questions and grow your connections with our guests. All so that you can prepare yourself to work in the industry.

These all live in the Resource Hub (which is like Netflix for the sports industry) here you’ll find over 50+ hours of premium content and resources to choose from.
