Welcome to the SportsGrad Newsletter. Each week we take a deep dive into how people are growing their careers in sport.

Here you’ll find insights, tactics and tools to help you win jobs, get promoted, work around the world, make an impact, and still get paid fairly in sport.

Plus the latest on what’s happening in the SportsGrad Community - a private group of legends lifting each other toward the careers of their dreams.

This week we welcomed new SportsGrad Members (for the first time in 3 months)!

Here’s how the May intake went down.

Once a quarter, we open the door for new ‘Rookie’ Members to join the Community.

When doors open, you only have 48 hours to jump on board, or wait another 3 months.

9am on Tuesday rolled around, and…

In they came! 25% of Members joined within the first hour.

Once they landed inside the online Community, they began to introduce themselves.

We welcomed people from Melbourne, Monaco, Berlin, Perth, the US, Adelaide, Sydney, India, the UK, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Northern Ireland and more!!

Here’s some of the ways they want to make an impact in sport…

And then we got straight to (the fun) business…

That night we jumped into Speed Networking, where Members got to meet 6+ people in 45 minutes without leaving their house.

It sounded like they had fun.

(Probably because no cold DMs had to be sent 😰)

On Day 2, we had 18% of Members join in the last 4 hours.

We like to call them the ‘Last-Minute-Legends’

So what’s next?

In the coming weeks, there are Masterclasses, Job Fairs, Career Q&As, Speed Networking, and even coffee and run clubs (you can check out what’s coming up in May below)!

In between, Members can check out the Resource Hub to watch over 60+ hours of content (like Netflix for the sports industry).

Lastly… Employers!
